In this mini mission, Sentinel is called to Holdastar, a solar power hardware development company, to try to figure out how a key R&D document was stolen

The training challenges the trainees to recognize email-born cyber security threats and vulnerabilities in their office computers:

• Phishing: Noticing a deceptive scheme that involves obtaining personal information for criminal purposes.
• Inappropriate use of email account: Noticing any professional-type messages sent through a personal email account, or vice versa, the use of a professional account for personal use.
• Insecure transfer of confidential information: Noticing sensitive information at risk of being intercepted in an email.
• Spam or unsolicited email: Noticing a message to be Spam or otherwise unsolicited.

In this blitz mission, Sentinel is called in for a quick inspection to find potential information security vulnerabilities around a single office desk.

The training challenge is to recognize the threats in the physical environment:

• Not protecting items that may grant access to restricted environments - ID cards, Keys
• Leaving sensitive information in the open
• Writing down passwords
• Leaving devices with access to information in reachable places
• Disposing of sensitive materials without destroying them first
